In India

Praise the Lord,

I have just returned from graduating 52 students in the SOC. We where in one of the only pentecostal churches in the area and the presence of God was so great.  The students had many great testimonies of being changed by the power of God.  This School was in a slum area where the sewage was pumped out. Right outside the door was a pond of sewage, you can’t imagine the smell, but to see the faces of those beautiful saints of God singing and worshipping God in the beauty of Holiness was amazing. You would of thought they where in a beautiful Cathedral in America, not a slum in India, But like John Bunyan wrote 400 years ago, “where Christ is there is therefore a Kingdom now for me.” Conditions do not separate us from God and this Church in the midst of sewage worshipped a God that heard them.
I ask you to pray for us as we travel tomorrow to Nagaland and them to Ambola to run the SOC with over 100 ministers. We need a move of God here in India. Everywhere we go we must make Christ real or it is a wasted trip. May God bless you richly.
In Christ,
Josh

Praise the Lord,

We have made it back home to Beaumont and all is well. Tomorrow 11-10-08 I leave for a very exciting trip to India. I will be gone till 12-08-08. Please keep me in your prayers as this trip will give us a chance to preach to thousands, many in remote villages. While in India I will be running the School of Christ in Ambola with over 100 ministers from 5 states. I believe this could be Pentecost for India. To God be the Glory. If you would like to contact me over the next few weeks the best way is through email. My address is hamby_in_india@hotmail.com. God bless and remember, with God nothing is Impossible.

Away from Home

Dear friends,

We are in Alabama at the moment. Our home is fine in Beaumont but the city has taken a hard hit from hurricane Ike. Please keep us in your prayers as it will be at least 3 more weeks before we are allowed to go home.  Please keep India in your prayers as there is alot of violence at the moment.  Even our director had to flee for his life last night at a SOC graduations.  I do know God is moving in that country but it is hard to hear of people you know being beat, even killed. God bless.
